I admit--I never really used Burt's Bees products. I knew they made the infamous lip balm, and a few other things, so I was delighted when I was sent these items. I am reviewing the Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser and the Intense Hydration Day Lotion. If you have dry skin, you MUST check these out! Inspired by the Clary Sage plants' ability to retain moisture in harsh environments, these natural products will do the same, leaving your skin supple and soft.
Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser ($10) cleanses the skin and removes all makeup without stripping the skin of essential oils. I loved the creamy consistency and it didn't irritate my eyes or skin--a big plus for this sensitive skin-girl. In addition to removing my makeup, I noticed that there was no sticky or oily residue after using. My skin felt clean! I really liked the scent. Would recommend and purchase!
Just like the cleanser, Burt’s Bee’s Hydration Day Lotion ($18) is dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic. At first I was curious because the bottle is so small, but it's because a little goes a long way! It is that moisturizing--just as the name implies: intense hydration. It features a pump that allows you to dispense the right amount needed. As long as I didn't use too much, it would soak right into the skin. The scent is wonderful. I had no reactions from using this product. Would recommend to those with very dry skin, especially in the winter. Would purchase.
