Natural, Easy, All-Day Makeup Tutorial

Do you ever find yourself doing your makeup in a hurry, only to have it fade an hour later? If so, you can relate to today's post. When I'm not blogging, you can find me at my day job as a nanny. That means not only do I take care of a 4-and-three-quarters-year-old (she is very specific about her age) and a 4 month old, I have many other roles as well:

I'm a singer, dancer, artist, actor, creator of games, repairer of toys, chef, cheerleader, giver of hugs, a "make-better" of boo-boos, story teller, pirate, ballerina (at night), various animals, song writer, swing pusher, teacher, nose wiper, fort maker, stylist, groomer, mender of clothes, and about a hundred more roles--and that was just this morning. Plus, within a given day we are playing/creating/learning outside, inside, and are headed to various classes and activities.

And I need makeup that is easy, fast, and that lasts all day. That's where Neutrogena comes in. I can apply their products quickly and with confidence because they'll last me from one activity to the next. Check out how I got my #alldaylook (pictured above):

First, let's talk hair--I get asked all the time what hair products I use. The Neutrogena Triple Repair Haircare system definitely helps with my dry, color-treated hair and makes it soft and manageable. The Fortifying Leave-In Treatment is a must if you use heat styling products, as it protects hair over 400 degrees.

After hair is done it's time for makeup. Since I am on the go, I need something fast, that looks natural, and lasts from one activity to the next. I can do this look in 5 minutes, grab my purse, keys, sunnies, and head out the door. I started off by applying the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture with Sunscreen.

Next, I used a brush to apply the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum (SPF 20) and then some concealer. This foundation is perfect for dry skin and leaves a natural finish.

My favorite part is mascara! I used the Neutrogena Healthy Volume® Mascara. This stuff DOES NOT clump on me and can worn for a natural look or for nice volume. Plus, it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.

I finished my look with the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick. I've talked about these so many times before on here because they are that good. You get moisture, natural pigmentation, and a yummy scent. I keep these in my purse--you don't need a mirror to apply!
