Today I'm sharing my reviews on a few of these popular beauty products. All items were sent for consideration or as a contest prize. I am not affiliated with any products shown but some links are affiliated with sellers. My opinions do not reflect everyone who sells or tries these products. As I always say, this is just one girl's opinion--try the products yourself!
First up is Perfectly Posh, a gluten-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free natural line of skincare and bath and body products. And they have just about everything from lotions, scrubs, masks, hair stuff and more. I got to try several things, and really liked just about everything I tried. I only wish the samples were bigger, not only for thorough testing, but so I could see how big the products are for the price. I know--just being greedy! But these little treats are designed to give you a taste of the fun so you'll want to order. My fave is the Snarky Bar--it is an awesome exfoliating bar for the body. Products are all under $25 and feature cute packaging.
Rodan + Fields is a luxury brand of skin care, and they have a product for every skin concern. I've been able to try this twice, thanks to a review and thanks to a giveaway. I was given samples of the MicroDerm Abrasion (full size), the paste, and repairing night cream. I liked everything I was able to try, but the samples were very small--enough to try for a day or so. Again, I know this is the standard to encourage purchasing, but would have wanted larger samples to give a full review. Prices are around $30-$100+.
Younique 3D Fiber Lashes are sold by most of my Instagram followers. I originally reviewed it here. Yes, it does work! The kit includes fibers and a gel, and you can use your favorite mascara with it. You can easily build up the amount of volume you'd like, but it can quickly go into spider lash territory if not careful, proving the power of the product. I experienced no irritation or problems with the product as long as I followed the directions. If you are looking to build volume and length into lashes, give this a try. $29--buy it here
Nerium is another popular line that pops up frequently in my Friend Requests. They have a variety of products, and I was able to try NeriumFirm Body Contouring Cream. According to the website, this is a brand new plant-based skin-tightening cream that reduces the appearance of cellulite and dimpling to help smooth, tighten and firm loose skin and to help restore the appearance of youthful contour, tone and texture. Clinical studies on NeriumFirm demonstrated that after 28 days, 92% of participants reported positive improvements on their thighs, 92% reported an increase in skin hydration and 83% reported an improvement in the appearance of skin smoothness and cellulite. I had just finished using another cellulite cream, so I cannot tell if this cream really worked or if it was lasting effects from the other product I tried. The results were not dramatic, but there was a slight difference. Remember, this helps with the appearance of cellulite. I ran out of product (full size) to continue testing but I was pleased. $98 per tube.
It Works! is a very successful company, so apparently their many products work for others. I had an opportunity to try a wrap kit. I was told I would see results after just one wrap. When I experienced no results after using the entire kit, I was told the product isn't to detox the body or for weight loss. It is only to tighten and tone. I needed to buy more wraps, drink more water, and eat healthy to see a difference. Plus, it was suggested that I buy the supplements they sell. That makes sense. When I asked the seller if she used it, she said yes. But when I asked for pictures of before/after of her, (her social media only had a closeup of her face) she broke off contact. If you're looking for quick results, this isn't for you, but apparently results will happen after some time. So if these wraps work for you, that is awesome!
