First off, did you check out yesterday's post on my Makeup Collection? I didn't share my nail polishes--that's a post in itself. Speaking of polishes, a year ago I picked up the Dior Nail Glow. It's a pricey, but light polish that adds a beautiful shine to nails. And then a few months ago I saw the Sally Hansen Palm Beach Jellies, I bought three different shades wondering if they could be an inexpensive alternative to the Dior.
3 coats |
- A nail enhancer that gives your natural nails a shiny, healthy glow.
- $25 for .33 oz
- Pinks of the nails become pinker and the whites become whiter for a shining finish and healthy-glow effect
- Available online and in stores, like Sephora

Sally Hansen Triple Shine Palm Beach Jellies
- Shiny, jelly polish
- $5
- Limited edition
- 3 buildable shades similar to Dior (there are 6 shades, with 3 being pink/red)
- Hard to find online, but easy to find in stores at this writing
This or That:
- After months of testing, I do not see these as similar products, but I like them both. The Dior gives more of a shine and lasts longer, but if pigmentation is what you're after, then choose Sally Hansen. Dior will give a natural glow to nails while the Sally Hansen delivers a fun, buildable watercolor. Sally Hansen gives more product and is much cheaper. In the end, it comes down to personal preference and the result that you desire. Note: I didn't swatch these on my actual nails because only the jellies showed in pictures. The Dior looks like a clear top on my nails .
