Dolce & Gabbana Makeup Review

I am extremely excited to introduce to you the Dolce & Gabbana makeup line. These products aren't just pretty packaging (which is simply gorgeous), they are stellar! Please read on to see my review:

The polish was the first product I tried. It's a beautiful soft pink that is wearable for work and would look gorgeous on brides. The Nail Lacquer comes in 43 shades and features a Gel Tech formula. This formula helps to increase wear and durability. Let me tell you that I had NO chips for 6 days.  And only then did one nail chip--with no top coat. This polish is amazing. I don't have a picture here, since it looked like I had no polish on, but in person the color was visible and pretty.

Next, are the lipsticks and lip liner. While they have a variety of lipsticks and glosses, I was sent the cream lipsticks. They are beautiful and long lasting. They have a slight rose scent and are moisturizing. The lip liner features a double-ended lip liner and brush. It comes in 12 shades and lasts long after the lipstick has faded. Pictured are the red lip liner in Ruby, and lipsticks in Ultra (crimson red) and Amethyst (deep plum).

Dolce & Gabbana also has a variety of mascaras, like these Passioneyes Duo mascaras. They come in 3 colors: Nero 1 (black), Terra 2 (brown), and Blu Indaco 3 (blue), The mascaras feature a curved wand, which curls lashes and delivers volume. The formula is buildable and free of fragrances. The formula is a dry one, which helps prevent clumps. The wand is just the right size, making it work for all eye shapes and sizes.

The Eyeshadow Quad comes in 19 shades, all with smooth, buildable color that lasts 8 hours. The quads are fragrance-free and have a variety of looks, like day or night. The compact comes in a velvet bag, making it feel even more luxurious. I reviewed Desert, a classic neutral palette.

I've barely scratched the surface when it comes to the variety of makeup to be found at Dolce & Gabbana: think foundations, concealers, and tools and more. I cannot say enough good things about these products. I'm in love with them and strongly encourage you to check them out, if you're looking for a quality product. This makeup line is not only luxurious with its packaging, but also performs at a very high standard.

The products shown today are some of their fall favorites, and I received them in conjunction with an event on December 12th in Atlanta. Dolce&Gabbana National Makeup Artist, Christian McCulloch, introduced consumers to the new Passioneyes Duo Mascara and to create custom makeup applications inspired by the seasons top beauty trends.
