New Drugstore Mascara Reviews!

I am a sucker for mascara. I see a new one, and I must.try.it. Luckily, I had BOGO 50% off sales and CVS bucks that were about to expire, so I had to check out these mascaras, you see! I had to! Not buying it? Me neither, so let's check out these new drugstore mascaras! FYI: I had zero irritations from these mascaras (I wear contacts), I found them easy to remove, I did one coat, and pictures were taken when I first woke up, so excuse the crazy blood-shot eyes (eek!). Enjoy!

Maybelline Rocket Volum Express--No "e" is necessary when you are an awesome mascara! I have a love/hate relationship with Maybelline mascaras--love, because I love just about all of them, but hate because they flake too easily on me. But the new Rocket Volum? Nothing but LOVE! I even shared it on Instagram, which means it's totally official.
Wand--This is one of the few plastic bristle wands in their lineup and it provides great volume (way better than pictured!) and with little/no clumps. The wand reminds a little of LashBlast's wand.
Formula--Maybelline mascaras are typically dry, but this one is wet and thin.
Overall--Will definitely repurchase

Rimmel ScandalEyes Show Off--The original ScandalEyes (orange tube) is one of my faves because of the big brush and thick, wet formula providing big volume quickly. I've tried every mascara in the ScandalEyes collection and still the original is the best. The new Show Off provides a natural-looking length, with the brush being the standout.
Wand--OMG am I obsessed with this! I knew I would love the plastic wand with the ball at the end (similar to the end of Benefit They're Real mascara). It grabs those inner and outer lashes with ease, and works great with the bottom lashes too. I'm keeping the wand and using it in other mascaras.
Formula--It's dry and similar to a Maybelline mascara formula, with occasional flaking when I rub my lashes. The result is natural, but with length, and little volume.
Overall--This makes a great daytime mascara, but I will not repurchase (but I love that wand!)

L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions--I'm a fan of the original Telescopic, as it's my favorite lengthening mascara. I like this one as well, as it seems very similar, minus the brush.
Wand--It's a plastic wand, similar to the original Telescopic, but this is a straight wand, and has less spacing (note the last pic). The bigger spacing around the bristles allow for more length.
Formula--The formula is thick, wet, and reminds me of the original Telescopic.
Overall--I found it too similar to the original (with the Carbon Black version being even more similar), but since I liked it, I would repurchase.

Prestige Total Intensity--Prestige My Blackest Lashes is one of my favorite mascaras, but I've been disappointed with the rest of them. This provided me with dark lashes, but it clumped easily, and I didn't like the wand.
Wand--Out of the mascaras reviewed, this is the only traditional, natural bristled-wand. The wand is heart-shaped, which sounds good in theory but it's just too big! I can't believe I'm saying that about a wand because I normally love larger wands. It was too cumbersome to work with and small eyes will probably not like this.
Formula--A drier formula but a really darkening one. Small clumps, but buildable volume.
Overall--Oddly enough, it's the one that showed best on camera, but I'm just not a fan. I'd rather have My Blackest Lashes.
