What's in My Mailbox? July

via
Hey you! First off, I want a cute pink mailbox like that one up there. And a hefty stack of correspondence wouldn't hurt. In the meantime, I shall share some fun goodies I was sent to try. Enjoy these mini-reviews and happy weekend, y'all!

First up is the new Strivectin-A Advanced Retinol Concentrated SerumThis super-charged serum contains the highest level of Retinol in the StriVectin-AR Advanced Retinol collection combined with the patented NIA-114 technology to boost the performance of Retinol’s age-fighting properties without the irritation. I tested it on the right side of my face (your left), and these are the results after 2 weeks:

This pic isn't altered, other than cropping, I swear to you. I don't know if you'll be able to tell, but the lines have softened a little. I am still using this and can't wait to report back in a few weeks! Purchase in department stores.

Pur Minerals, Mally
I love Mally Beauty and have purchased her products many times before. I tried the Lip Magnifier, the Evercolor Shadow Stick, the Waterproof Eyeliner, and the Volumizing Mascara. I was happy with everything I received! The eyeliner has been awesome this summer. Items range $20+ and can be found at ULTA. From Pur Minerals, I tried their Lip Gloss Sticks--loved the pigmentation these. $16 at ULTA.

Green&Glam Hair Repair Mask--For those of you into organic beauty and/or cruelty-free, you'll love this. It has really helped my hair post-pool. Acai Berry oil hydrates while Ginger extract and fruit oils silken and soften. Organic Neroli oil nourishes dry scalp, stimulates growth and leaves hair smooth and shiny. $24.99

Venus Razors are a staple in my shower. And the Snap is a staple in my travel bag. Is this not the cutest lil razor? These work and if you haven't tried to, you need to change that, stat! At Drugstores

Aveeno Anti-Itch--I hadn't tried this before, but it did temporarily help relieve those dang mosquito bites I've been dealing with all summer. Aveeno Broad Spectrum Sunscreen--SPF 30 and it worked! At drugstores

Merle Norman Cosmetics--I admit, I had not tried this line before now but am SO glad I did. While I loved everything I got to try, the blush and lipstick have been worn the most. The lipstick is the color I wish my lips looked like. I'll be posting a pic of me wearing these on Instagram, so be sure to check it out.

Supersmile makes a great whitening toothpaste that I tried in mint and cinnamon. Yes, they work. I also like their Quikee for touchups after eating. $21

Did you see my Instagram post on these? I am OBSESSED with these TogoSpa Eye Dews. They're gel pads to relieve puffiness under the eyes. I will be getting more of these. I keep these in the freezer and even have used them after eyebrow waxing. They come in 3 different types: Ice Water, Coconut, and Green Tea. They are some of the best I've ever tried, and I've tried many brands of these. They also sent me some wonderful lip balms you might want to check out. $25

Uni-K Wax Body Perfect Dry Oil Spray--a preservative-free, quick absorbing body treatment that glides on easily to hydrate the body by enveloping it in a veil of nourishment. The unique combination of rejuvenating oils works together to rapidly condition and soothe dry skin, while orchid flower extract, chamomile and sweet violet extract reduce inflammation and soothe sensitive skin. I liked how it didn't feel greasy but was lightly moisturized. ($33, UniKWax.com)

I couldn't wait to share these because I often get requests for soap reviews! These are Van Der Hagen Gentle Glycerin Soaps. They come in 4 scents (fruity, floral, fresh, and free) and they hydrate and soften skin. I've even used the Free to clean my brushes. $3.99

Sleep Spa--I've tried (and made) countless sheet masks, but this one caught my eye. These 100% Natural Bamboo face masks are infused with Argan and Baobab Oils to intensely hydrate, smooth and regenerate skin. (Pure Oils) And Papaya and Pineapple Enzymes to slough off dead skin and leave your skin looking radiant. Extremely easy to use, you first, cleanse your face, snuggle up in bed, apply the fabric mask to facial contours and relax for 10 minutes. Simply remove the fabric mask and massage any excess product into the skin. Then drift off to sleep and wake up to amazing results. These really worked!! My fine lines were temporarily plumped for hours. I will be purchasing these. $14.99 for pack of 3 at ULTA.

If you're looking for a shave cream that you can use wet or dry, that smells amazing, and is super creamy, try these from EOS. EOS stands for Evolution of Smooth, and I totally agree with the name. These feature Vitamins C and E, and are $3.49. I was also sent a TSA-approved travel size, $1. At box retailers, like Target and Walmart.

Have a great weekend! Be safe, behave, and be well. Love, Elle
